The Annals FAQ's
1. What kind of papers does the ANNALS prefer to publish?
The ANNALS is designed to provide an international audience of practicing
clinical psychiatrists with up-to-date information regarding the phenomenology
and/or treatment of persons with mental disorders. The emphasis is
on results of controlled clinical studies. Timely and thorough review
articles and case reports that present new appraisals of pertinent
clinical topics are included as well. The ANNALS also publishes reviews
of books that are relevant to the provision of psychiatric patient
care. Communications regarding published original articles, either
in support or offering meaningful debate, are reviewed and accepted
if they suggest important insight. Visit Contents of Current Issues

2. How long does it take to get a paper published in the ANNALS?
All papers published in the ANNALS are peer reviewed by Editorial
Board members. Manuscripts are sent to reviewers as soon as possible
after being received by the Editor-in-Chief. Reviews are asked to
be returned within 3-4 weeks. Revisions may be requested of the authors
which require further review once they are returned to the Editor-in-Chief.
